Bloodstone

During an evocation of Lilith last night, I told her that I wished that my partner could move closer to me sooner and that we could live together. We already have long-term plans for him to move closer but, of course, being in love we both wish that he could be here right now.

The word that was repeatedly sent to me both, both whispered and through a vision, was “bloodstone.”

Up until last night, I had never heard of this and did not know that bloodstone is a real crystal. I don’t do a lot of work with crystals. I own several crystals but mainly just display them, or they inspire certain feelings in me. But I don’t really use them in practice.

What is frustrating is that Lilith either would not tell me, or I wasn’t at the right frequency to receive the rest of the information. I don’t know if she wants me to bring her a bloodstone to her altar as an offering, if I am supposed to use the bloodstone in a ritual, if my partner needs to wear it, or if I am simply meant to wear the bloodstone to make this request manifest.

I am also confused because I’ve read about bloodstone in multiple places and every page seemed to have a different use for it. But none of what I have read really seems very applicable to this situation. So, why bloodstone?

Does anybody know more about bloodstone, or have worked with it? How can I utilize bloodstone to manifest a faster relocation for my partner?

Bloodstones can be used to ensure that the move goes smoothly by protecting the person (ex. making sure they don’t get into a car accident),

I have been doing some additional research on this stone, and here is some more information that I have found.

"Bloodstone is an excellent manifestation stone and has been ascribed for thousands of years, in cultures around the world, to having the power to bring abundance, make intentions real on Earth, and release all the inner and outer obstacles in the way. It’s a stone to help you win in life, in all sorts of ways.

Bloodstone is specifically mentioned in what’s called the “Leiden papyrus”, an ancient Greco-Roman codex found buried with its owner in Thebes, Egypt, where it’s been translated to say: “The world has no greater thing. If anyone have this with him, he will be given whatever he asks for… Whoever bears this stone […] will find all doors open, while bonds and stone walls will be rent asunder.” This is exactly the energy that bloodstone brings to help you bust through the walls of fear, break out of the bonds of limiting beliefs and emotional trauma, and direct action toward accomplishing anything you want in this life."

Can you provide more details, what particular stone it is? Because I know at least three different stones that are caled bloodstone: Heliotrope, Carneol, and Hematite. Heliotrope, for the red spots it have, Carneol, for the color of flesh, nad Hematite, as it “bleed” when cut (yes, it is a iron oxide, and when cut under water it looks like it’s bleeding)

Most websites seem to refer to the heliotrope, based on their images and your descriptions. However, I do not know what version is the one mentioned in the ancient texts.

I purchased two bloodstones and could feel the energy of these stones as soon as they touched my palm. It gave me shivers all the way up to my shoulder. Very potent.

Thanks. I will think about making a signet ring with this stone.

Several source on wikipedia refer to the heliotrope bloodstone in the ancient aspect as well.

I’m very excited to work with this stone from a manifestation aspect and curious to see if the ancient wisdom is accurate.

It is also supposed to have healing properties in addition to manifestation and protection.

I have used Heliotrope bloodstone in numerous rituals.

It can be charged with the practitioners energy or with solar energy by holding it in sunlight and directing solar energy into it. But when this energy is then directed in ritual it is the closest thing to blood I have ever used apart from actual blood.

Held to a sigil, it enhances the manifestation of a spirit.

When under magickal fatigue, it can be used to draw energy into the practitioner to alleviate or cure the magickal fatigue.

As everything has a spirit, I once used an incantation to summon the astral entity of my bloodstone. It manifested as a humanoid red dragon. In questioning it I learned that it could enhance anything I did magickally. Summoning and directing this entity in rituals it contributed potent and very bloody, very red energy to whatever I was doing.

In the past, it was used to command demons.

My experience with it is not extensive but these are my personal experiences with it. I think it is worth using.

It seems that this is the best stone for a magician.

I just recall something interesting: there is a resin from Dracaena tree, called dragon’s blood. As I remember, it has very similar properities like the bloodstone: can draw wealth, and boosts the power of any magic and ritual, and has also ability to manifest the wishes. I think those two, the stone and the resin in combination with each other can be a potent, powerful talisman. I will definetly put some dragon’s blood under the bloodstone in my signet ring
