For a while now I have been taking an interest in astrology. The western one and, especially, the Vedic one (especially thanks to the @mth_yesco interesting posts!)
While poking around in books and on the web, I came across ASTROCARTOGRAPHY, a method of locational astrology by which specific geographic locations are associated with differences in personal life circumstances…
In a nutshell, according to this theory, depending on the position of the planets on our natal chart, in the course of our lives, geographical places where the planetary effects could be more or less beneficial. There are places, for example, where astral conjunctions could be particularly inauspicious and negative. On the other hand, moving to a city where the planets would be more in tune could bring us great success.
Moreover, it would seem that this would be very effective on our birthday. It would be ideal if, on our birthday, we were in an auspicious place so as to positively influence the whole year.
What do you think of this theory? Do any of you have experience with this?
Yes, planets have directions too. This concept is called Vas-tu in Hindu culture and Vedic astrology. Basically:
Sun represent East direction
Mars represents South direction
Jupiter North East
Mercury North
Venus South East
Saturn West
Moon North West
Rahu South west
For example in my chart Mars controls my higher education and I went abroad to a county in the South of the continent
I have Miami and Orlando on a Saturn line. I visited for over a month. I did not dislike the sociopolitical climate of Florida at all. I had nothing against it. Saturn is usually associated with conservatism, but Florida seemed like a politically “meh” place to me when I was there and I was kind of surprised by how “not-conservative” it was but it was not totally liberal either. I live in Canada, which is VERY LIBERAL. I am a politically indifferent person with friends on both sides, for context.
The Saturn took on a very literal representation. I have a lot of insufferable rich relatives in Florida, and I had to stay in their house. My father is from a wealthy family, and he is estranged from most of the family from marrying my mother, who is from a poor family. They tend to look down on me since I never received a private school education, was a debutante, and so forth. If I were to avoid them, I think I would have enjoyed Florida… but we have forgotten another problem.
The alligators are the #1 reason why I disliked Florida. My Saturn is in the 12th House in tropical, which represents large animals. I despised being outside and would nearly succumb to a panic. You can see them swimming along the marshes behind houses, and they sometimes crawl into backyards. I saw one hovering behind Best Buy.
I did go ziplining in Gatorland in case you were curious. I liked it. It was fun.
I live on my Lot of Necessity in Canada, and I really dislike it here. I would praise Canada for the good living standards.
I have a Venus-Lot of Nemesis(?) activity in Iran. It is a beautiful country and the people there have only ever been very lovely and nice to me. I think the Lot of Nemesis is more-so warning about the chances of imprisonment under the Islamic Regime.
Same with Australia… I have a Venus line and Lot of Nemesis, and there are many deadly creatures in the ocean.
I am familiar with Moon lines, since I have been to at least a few places on the Moon line: you feel a sense of comfort, as if you belong and you are at home. There is a dreaminess to the place, and you could have a lot of family there. The food might be very nice. You could also be very sensitive to the climate/weather of the place. If hot, you might get sunburn a bit worse than usual. If cold, frostbite. You will enjoy swimming very much.
I have yet to visit any lines beyond the Moon, Lot of Necessity, Lot of Nemesis, Saturn and most of the places I have visited were not on any lines in the first place.
Capricorn in Vedic astrology is represented by a Crocodile. 12th house can be for hidden ennemies that you can’t see from Dark places like the Subconscious. I think this is maybe one of the reasons you get panicked when you see them.
From personal experience, Yes. My friend is a medium/angel channeler and back when I used to live in my old house she channelled for me and said the planetary influence in that area is holding back from my financial success. Next thing you know, I move houses and my finances start skyrocketing.
I was watching this video about how to raise children and the Dr said the 1 of the biggest influence on children is outside the home, according to the research done.
The environment plays such important role in our development and i would assume for the rest of our lives.
I think speaking to the land spirits and working with them would be the best thing instead of using online app or whatnot.
There are hidden civilizations ruins all over the planet still effective us all. I would suggest looking on the astral too.
The masons in the usa have planned a LOT of cities and towns and I think they put stuff on purpose too?
