So I have been practicing attempts at astral projection now for about a year, and I’m slowly seeing more results. I’ve come to ask here for some advice and tricks though on it, because I’ve run into a problem.
The issue is though I know I am capable of exiting my body, and have a few times now, even just in my room at first and I did actually go to the astral one time so far. I can’t seem to project at my own will whatsoever.
The only method I have found and been using so far which is very on a chance basis, aka it only happens if my mind somehow randomly wakes up before my body after I go to bed, and even then i have only found affirmations to work a little.
Which is rare to actually work, and so I’ve been trying to find some maybe techniques or help as to how I can manually do it without having to just hope for the chance it will happen when I wake up, lol. I’ve tried doing it while laying down and awake but my body can never get relaxed enough to go into that half asleep state.
So do any of you have advice on how I can maybe train myself to do it manually or in a way where I won’t have to depend on some random variable, you know?
I understand part of it does come with experience but I would prefer if I wouldn’t have to depend on my brain randomly waking up in order to do it. Anything helps, either way.
the good news is that you are able to have exits in these states.. i know what you mean and what you are talking about. id say consciousness shifting of any kind just takes a lot of practice… id start with mastering meditation. but keep focused when you are in meditation… try not to drift off. one thing i like to do is focus on the blackness in front of me. that void will start to expand. also if you are clairvoyant i have found if a scene appears in front of you just have a powerful intent and “jump” into that if that makes sense. for some reason i have found if you have your clairs open its easier to have these experiences.
As far as at night time when you wake up, even though you want to do it without having to rely on such things, (i understand!) here is what i did… i played with it anyway because the more you engage in it its almost like your higher self will work with you to the goals you want to get to without having to use these tools… or even like binaural beats.
when i first started i took advantage of waking up in the night and i was having obes on a nightly basis. so what i would do is just go to bed and train myself the min i wake up in the middle of the night i would play dead…. dont move your body at all. instantly quiet your mind but instead of falling asleep… have an intent shift somewhere and it will happen quite fast with practice…
you can even train yourself once you left the physical only stay out for 20 seconds or so… then have an intent to shift back into the physical. keep laying there playing dead upon return and boom you can shift again and do a chain reaction of obes. my record is like 15 in a row. the trick is not to stay out to long.
as far as losing tools, just try to become an adept at meditation. i know it sounds easy but honestly i think it is. the problem is our intellect thinks too much. as a kid i left my body all the time i thought everyone did it… as we grow up we get beliefs and such…
a good solid practice of meditation is what helped me. but stay focused in it… i really think its as easy as that. but it takes practice. soon after many many experiences you can find you can do things like bilocation etc.
i know its hard to get results in meditation sometimes but if you can reach that point consciousness state where that void in front of you gets huge…. you are already there. just have an intent… let go… and poof.
i hope this helps you
when i was taught i was told “relax… your body … then your mind… let go and fall into yourself”
Also when you can do this its easy to wanna be out of body all the time… try to keep a good balance with the physical world too. if you can master that you are good to go. you wanna be able to be in one place when you want then be in another when you want. and hold that. like EA says… make a sandwhich or something if you need to get back to reality xD
there was a point in my life i became so ungrounded i forgot to eat cuz i forgot i still had a physical body. not good!! balance is really important
