Astarte and vampirism

Hello everyone!

Does anyone have direct experiences with Astarte? What is her relationship with vampirism?

Thanks a lot

None. She is the Canaanite goddess of sex, love, war and hunting, whose worship evolved out of that of the earlier Mesopotamian goddess Inanna/Ishtar. Astarte is actually her Greek name; her Canaanite and Phoenician name was Attart and she was the consort of Ba’al Hadid, the storm god.

She has never been linked to vampirism . However, some occultists link the Egyptian war goddess Sekhmet to vampirism for no other reason than that in her myth she went on a killing spree and drank blood so I’m sure someone somewhere could dream up a non-existent link for Astarte as well. It’s something occultists love to do, after all.
