Army of the Dead

I don’t know if this is the right place for this but it seemed to be the area of the forum. It made the most sense to me. I don’t mind if it’s moved to a better fit.

About a year or so ago I was working on necromancy and I used graveyard dirt and a special ring to create an army of the Dead.

I did the work successfully and that was that.

However, last week I felt as though I was under some type of attack. Whether spiritual or another magician I didn’t look into it. I was so absorbed in my progress with my other magical works.

Well, by Friday the feeling was very strong. As I was resting before I had to got to my job I saw several beings, they looked dead but they could move quickly. They rose up from my backyard where I had bound my army of the Dead to my ring.

They rose up and jumped on the roof of my house and then dispersed into different directions. I had the distinct understanding that they were protecting me.

I think I did more than create my own army of the Dead. They seem to know when I’m in danger and understand how to assemble and carry out tactics.

I can still see some of them around my place. It’s like they are on guard.

Perhaps, I did more than I intentionally meant to do. But I am not complaining about it.

Very interested in it and thinking I need to go back over how I performed that magical working and see if I can find where I gave that ability to them or if it’s something that just happens.

I had thought they would only become active with called forth but apparently they somehow can tell when danger is afoot.

Or maybe someone messed with the binding

It seems like if someone tampered with the binding they wouldn’t have stayed so unified and protective.

Unless, the tampering pissed them off and they went after the one/ones doing said tampering.

You should do an introduction it is the rules of this forum @Wayn .

What i found about the whole current of necromantic death magick is that its energy is VERY toxic, vampiric, parasitic, mischievous, and all around rebellious. It’s also easy to direct spirits between people/locations because many restless dead spirits (and/or powerful parasitic monsters) are very eager to just mess with people. But this also runs the risk of them turning around and vampirizing you if given the chance. (And not constrained properly)

I’ve only ever used necromancy for malicious baneful intent, and afterwards, cleansing myself and banishing thoroughly. (With angels and infernals alike)

I haven’t had any problems. It seems they are doing what I intended, just without have to be told too.
