Arch Angels colors?

#1

Hi all,

I am hoping someone can tell me the right colors that represent the 4 arch angels of the circle? I keep getting different colors for each one.

Thanks,

G

I’d stick to Crowley’s 777 if association is your intent, but honestly you don’t need colors to fully work with them.

So should I paint their stones with black paint and their red sigils? Would that be ok?

Look for their planetary correspondences
Michael Solar gold and yellow
Raphael Mercurial orange
Gabriel Lunar white or silver
Auriel Uranian blue or green

Here a good link to this stuff

I knew the link which is indeed very good.

However, there’s a mistake (and quite a dangerous one) : that site list SAMAEL as the archangel of Mars.

SAMAEL is a fallen angel. A very hot and fiery spirit whose name means “poison of God”. Chief of satans, Prince of demons, various other title in various litterature.

CAMAEL (sometimes written KAMAEL) would be the archangel of Mars. His name means “He who sees God”. His seal is very close to PHALEG, Olympic ruler of Mars.

It’s always good to check infos from a website with other sources.

I’ve seen Samael attributed as a fallen angel, the angel of death as well as attributed to Mars. I always say open the sigil and get a feel for a spirit before you go messing with it or allowing it’s influence in your life.

Good advice TWF.

If I recall correctly, SAMAEL is the husband of LILITH, which strenghten more his fallen angel nature ?

#8

Samael is also a name for Satan which explains the link to Lilith. When he was cast from heaven his name changed from Sa’ael to Samael. The “M” was if memory serves to denote that he was no longer a part of the union of god and this was believed to be how death came about. I’ll have to check on that as Karlsson explains it much better in Qaballah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magick.

Paints are ordered and I can’t wait to create my stones with the sigils on them! Will send pics of the finish stones and circle!

Donald Kraig lists them as following in ‘Modern Magick’:

Raphael - Yellow/Purple
Gabriel - Blue/Orange
Michael - Scarlet
Uriel - Green/Browns

This would be for the LBRP.

It’s similar in Ron Clark’s stuff, except he uses different angels for their Malkuth correspondences for the Sephiroth meditation; Haniel for the angel of the water, which is blue, and Gabriel for Earth, which is dark browns, greens.

Those would be elemental correspondences wouldn’t they Gnosis?

#12

Yea the Malkuth element correspondence.

Ah nevermind I didn’t realize we were talking about the planetary correspondence, which is actually listed on page 103-104 of Modern Magick, so you could also get different colors for that.

It was never specified what she was lookng for, I was just clarifying as they seemed elemental to me. Thanks, for mentioning the books. I’m still reading Modern Magick a few pages at a time lol, gonna take me forever.

Yea, it’s a very long course if you do it properly, but the visualizations and exercises go hand-in-hand with E.A.'s stuff.

I look at it as a training program to help open your spiritual sight. I’m only about 1/3 of the way through it myself but it’s very helpful.
