Interesting, its the same sigil that The Garden of Delight (RIP) used for their cover artwork and booklet on their demo “Rise”. I will look it up and send you a link via PM, I believe that the booklet might lead to a clue

Yeeees, Marutukku! I just hunted this picture down Thanks a bunch, @crookedpathfinder 
(I found a really dusty reference in a german paper called “Texte aus der Umwelt des alten Testaments” /“Texts from the surrounding world of the old testament” and they refer to Marduk as “Marutukku” as well
