Anybody practicing quimbanda?

I’m going through a research phase so I would like to get into contact with some people who practice. I will mainly just drop a PM every now and then with some questions I have.

Also, are these guys Legit?

I realize this isn’t haitian Vodoun, but to be fair they don’t have a General ATR thread lol.

Conjureman Ali seems to know his shit. But for some others he is a scam, for instance here : [url=http://www.spsreviewforum.com/threads/2945-Conjureman-Ali-Dr-Raven-www-theconjureman-com-AIRR]spsreviewforum.com

along the pages seems that CA created some fake accounts to have good reviews. Plus people didnt seem to enjoy his work.

but I dont know him so best thing for you is to get some infos about CA and make your own idea.

I was at one point, until someone helped me discover my Quimbadero was a fraud. Luckily the spirits didn’t burn me or anything so I got out safely with no I’ll effects…at least that I can see. The House of Quimbanda seems to be the only legit and publicly known house in the US. I even tried asking Nicolaj de Mattos Frisvold if he knew of any and he pointed THOQ out as well, no others. If any exist then they aren’t publicly known which usually means you can’t trust them. Best course of action? Brazil.

^Agreed.

From what I’ve found in looking into the tradition House of Quimbanda is the only one who is capable of tracing their lineage back to Brazil. I expect to see Quimbanda grow in the future as it becomes more popular but as with all things the more out their making claims to the practice the more likely you’ll run into a fraud.

Truth. I got scammed. Luckily it was only a bit more than a grand but if I hadn’t found out he was a fraud who knows how long the charade would have went on. I do hope it grows in the future here in the states, as I hope for all the ATRs/ADRs. They are powerful systems.

I don’t trust those review sites. The same people paying 10 casters for work? Are they rich?

Its curious how despite Im from Brazil, I cant give much of a care about adr spirits. I’ve attended to a Umbanda house for years when I just started in the occult, but even though I found it a nice experience, I couldnt find the answers and energies that would satisfy me. Now, I just started attending as a psychography medium in the same house, even though still not agreeing with their philosophy and even finding their energy very lacking somehow. The fact is that I go there coz I like the people and the spirits that drop by there. They are a spiritualist Umbanda house, which means they are focused on spiritual affairs through a right-hand path approach. The spirits there doesnt ask for alchohol nor tabacco, and they dont dress up accordingly to their status and class. Id say its a clean house, but very lacking on how to handle mundane affairs, as their philosophy is more about giving the other cheek than destroying your enemies.

In comparisson to them, the other spirits I find in more traditional houses seem nasty many of them even trying to regain their experiences as incaenated spirits through yheir mediums. Of course, there are evolved spirits that wont scam you for their personal deeds, but my advice is to keep your eyes open when dealing with these spirits, specially if they start claiming the task is way too hard to accomplish or if they start demanding too much from you. They’re deceased spirits that are trying to identify themselves with the african archetypes, but still remain their human nature, so try to attract those of a more evolved nature.

Do your best to find a reputable house, as you have the gift of divination, use that to your advantage.
