Hmmm now it all makes sense.

Regarding time, even if it doesn’t come to fruition within that time period, it can still happen later but failure of that would be the other factors. Are entities not able to use their powers to let a miracle happen in such cases?

Entities are not infallible. Sometimes, they just aren’t able to do what you ask them to do. It doesn’t mean they didn’t try, it just means that, for whatever reason, they were unable to move what needed to be moved.
