I made a post or posts a while ago of wanting to learn how to make illusions, I wasn’t ready then but I am know but I don’t want to waste my money on a book with very little useful information on what I hope to achieve some day, so I’m hoping you can tell me what has the information and lessons I’m looking for.

Glamour magick is not about creating illusions, it’s about enhancing yourself to alter the perceptions of those around you. You’ll find that most books on the subject tend to be centered around appearance, beauty, and charisma.

I understand. It’s just that I want to be able to cast an illusion to protect myself.
Example1: Hide my presence from the wrong crowed
Example2: distract or even spook someone who wants to hurt me so I can get away to safety
I don’t know how to fight, and I don’t have to money either, so that’s why I’m asking this

Look into invisibility spells. They cloak your energy and are used just for this reason. One thing to be aware of, though, is they generally won’t work if someone is actively looking for you.
For something like this, I would learn how to mold your aura into the shape of a demon or dragon. When done right, people will react as if you were imposing and intimidating.

Okay both are cool are there end Glamour books for that though?
You can do these with a super basic spell. All you need is an energy bubble and intention and then close.
You know what you want to acheive. You don’t need a book.
With the basic formula of the Lesser Invoking Ritual you can acheive just about anything within the limits of physical reality and maybe a little more. You don’t even need Pentagrams. Just energy, conscious intention, and force of Will.
Visualisations are just there to structure the energy.
Some have even passed the point of needing ritual at all.
