American Gods: Mr Wednesday

I am interested to hear Asbjorn’s and other’s thoughts about the portrayal of Odin (the character Mr Wednesday) in Neil Gaiman’s American Gods and the asosciated TV series. Do you think the portrayal is faithful to your experiences of Odin and / or descriptions of him in the Eddas? Do you think Gaiman’s interpretation of him is helpful in understanding Odin and therefore helpful in magical work with Odin?

Yasss me too… I see too many diestes. Being a gemini born on a full moon makes me insta connect. If I’m not carful I’m a life breathing spirit board lol… Love tituba. And the writing in that show… It’s only 3 seasons which is enough… :)… My husband is JUST like Ann Hale. Same mind set and everything lol

I think I’m more of a mix between Mary Sibley and tituba. Although Mary’s love for John Olden proved to be her downfall, I would definitely be smarter about it if I were win her shoes

And poor Tituba too, loving someone who can’t give her the same love in return and suffering for it

I’m more of a tituba if she was the countess, who btw your probably too young to remember this culture but the COUNTESS IN seasons 2 and 3 played in the cult culture classic TV show “Xena warrior princess” lol so I love her! Countess Marburg :slight_smile:

Haha there was this one time I tried to summon the real tituba form the witch trials.

That night I dreamt of running in a forest with my skirts swooshing around me but I think I subconsciously blocked anything else from coming through because I wasn’t ready
