I’m seeing them constantly. I’m not complaining, just pointing it out. However I’m curious. Is there any way to get sex/a relationship without it consuming you; as in to make yourself not be defined by a relationship while still obtaining one?

That’s the healthy way to be in a relationship. Loosing your sense of individuality to the relationship is not healthy in my opinion.
And it’s as simple as making sure that you keep ahold of your intesrests, hobbies, ideas, always make time for yourself to be you.
Make time for each other but take care of yourself. It’s all about balance.
