The text of Goetia says that Vassago is “of the same nature” as Agares.
What does this mean specifically? How do they differ, besides their powers? Is the similarity a subjective experience of the author of the Goetia note, or are they somehow systematically connected?
(I do welcome UPG, and if it’s discouraged by forum rules, I’m amicable with PMs. Also, this is my first discussion trend, tread gently )
Goëtia was written by a Christian demonologist, so he could’ve meant “Nature” under the sociological view of motives of work or demeanor.
If you ask me, it’s not something that really strictly apples to occult to worry about. Solomon forced those spirits into submission against their will and naturally he will experience far different things than most of us on here that call upon them peacefully.
I find Agares very gentle personally, I haven’t worked worked with Vassago yet so I can’t say very much by UPG.
