I think it comes down to the magician if you know your shit or not. And if you can deliver. Any path or work has the potential to be pwerful. Its up to you to put in the work.

Agreed, it comes down to the person’s drive, the nature of their relationships with spirits, pacts, initiations, nothing exists in a vacuum.

There is no difference between voodoo and magic. Paths are just a handy way to catatgorise different spells and groups of spirits. It’s all magic.
Both have the potential to be very powerful when used properly, depends fully on the mage casting it.
Assuming that the mage is equally skilled at both paths, then it would come down to the spell being cast. Right tool for the job and all that.

I’ve noticed personally that Voodoun Magick especially in curses and what not, is thicker, stronger and faster, where as your traditional witchcraft and what not is a bit slower. So imo voodoo

In African traditions it depends on the spiritual development of the sorcerer. I’ve worked with various traditions in the past. Your energy is the result of your manifestation. I’ve worked with santeria, voudon and Palo mayombe!

But yes voudon does allow the energy of the spirit to help in manifestation. How ever you must be advanced enough to be able to channel it!

So… going full circle…yes it depends on you, your power and your ability.

This is similar to asking if 2 people both attacked eachother with the same entity. Its a battle of will, the more powerful the magician the more powerful the magick wherever it derives from. My opinion.

I agree with @Rcs4215. Moses and Pharoah used the same magick. It’s just that Moses wanted it more. That’s why the Hebrews won over Egypt.

You can’t say one type of Magick is more powerful than the other from what I’ve experienced, there are too many variables at play. Usually it depends on the one that casts the magick, not the magick itself.
