Advice on a tricky living situation

Energies seemed to push me the direction of Leraje. From what I read, Leraje is capable of what I need, with reconciliation between lovers. With my current living situation it is impossible for me to use candles and incense properly. What do you advise? Is lighting it for a moment enough? Is the presence of it enough, unlit? I have both the appropriate candles and incense for Leraje.
