Nice work! Is this book quite intensive on tools? Or is it one that can be done without lots of gadgets and incense?

Most of the rituals can be done without a lot of tools. EA’s section is mostly hands free, other than the silver plate I mentioned above for the money magnet spell, a $20 bill for a burnt offering spell, and some candles. The chapter on spirit seals goes over simply charging them with intention, unless you want to go the full evocation route. The rituals in Kendall’s part of the book do seem to require more ingredients though, like oils, and stones, and such. I haven’t gotten to that part yet however.

Thanks, much appreciated. Im very very limited in space and also have to be wary of anything making strong smells or that would set off the fire detection (seems anything more than a candle does it)

There is some similarity to Damon Brand’s Financial Transformation in EA’s approach to money magick in the book. EA provides a couple of spells that are more about setting yourself up for success and removing blockages than getting money directly, for example. There’s a basic witchcraft spell where you write down all the excuses you have for why you cannot make money or be successful, and then you release them by either burning them, or putting them into a helium balloon and letting it go. It’s very much along the same lines as the rituals in Brand’s book which are all directed at becoming someone who knows their value and is worthy of wealth. Neither book is going to drop millions into your lap without you having to lift a finger, but if you put in the work, you can build something with meaning that provides real value to the world.

I think the one thing missing from the BALG Wealth Magick book is structure. EA doesn’t present any sort of program of rituals to follow like other money magick books such as Henry Archer’s 7 Occult Money Rituals or Damon Brand’s Wealth Magick/Financial Transformation Magick do. He covers some of the foundations of money magick, and gives some candle rituals, and spirit seals and magick squares but he doesn’t really put them together in a way that the student could easily implement into their practice. I guess it makes sense to leave it up to the student to pick and choose the rituals they want to use but most people will generally just go with the demon seals for quick cash. Very few will actually try to build lasting wealth and I think having a program to follow would help in this regard. When you don’t know what to do, having a teacher who has been there themselves show you the exact steps to take can be immensely useful.

I’ve noticed that about the books in the WDS. They are more of a grab bag of tools than a course. My instinct is to work through books in the order the material is presented, that instinct has made it harder to use those books.
