This series of works focuses on Abbadon, the Beast of the Pit, his Destroyer aspect and his role in exploring the Shadow on the Dragon’s Path. It contains four works that must be done in a row in 4 days, at any hour of the evening or night. In the first meditation, the gates will open for the flow of Abbadon to enter your personal temple. The following three works will lead you to a confrontation with your Shadow, based on the death-funeral-resurrection pattern, as a ritual of self-initiation, to embrace the mysteries of the Abyss. The purpose of the whole work is to introduce the practitioner into the gnosis of Abbadon, as a Beast of the Pit and a Destroyer, representing the enemy’s consciousness as an instrument of individual transcendence.
Before the ritual:
Prepare your ritual place the way you feel is suitable for this job. For the work of this project, you will need the following items:
• A black candle. You can light up the room more, and red candles are also needed for the first job.
• Abbadon’s Sigil. It should be painted in black on a gold or red background.
• Incense. The recommended choice is Dragon’s Blood or Musk.
• A blood collection tool. It can be a dagger, a knife, a lancet, etc., it is enough to take just a few drops, no more than the required amount. The blood of a practitioner is a vital component of the work, as it opens an inner gate in your consciousness and serves as a symbolic act of self-sacrifice, leaving room for initiation and transformation. You can make a blood offering on every day of the project, or you can do it only on the first day to activate the sigil – it’s up to you. You can also do the job without blood at all, but this is not recommended.
• A chalice filled with Communion. Preferably it should be a red wine representing the Blood of the Dragon, but if you can’t drink alcohol, then you can replace it with another drink of red color and exquisite taste. This will only be necessary on the last day.
Abbadon
Like many words from ancient history, the word “Abbadon” means a specific place in the ancient world, and only centuries later it came to mean an angel, namely an angel known as the “Destroyer”, or more precisely, the angel of death. In this project, we will explore a common archetype that correlates with it.
In short, he is the beast of destruction and the king of the locust army. This immediately indicates to us the connection between him and Beelzebub, as well as the connection with the already presented Belial. In this reference to Abbadon, the “streams of Belial” can also be found. Immediately on the surface, when we understand this, we have a bar of comparisons and correspondences for using them when working with Abbadon. So let us return to the higher spiritual perspective of what this very interesting deity can teach us and help us on a daily and personal basis.
Periodically in life, we find ourselves in states and situations that force us to revisit and reassess where we are and who we are. When we get a clear perspective, we make choices according to what needs to be done and make the appropriate changes. Thus, as you can see, Abbadon is closely related to the destroyer aspect of Shiva, and this is the first clue to understanding Abbadon’s gnosis.
Abbadon causes death and destruction, and you can take it both literally and metaphorically, as it is appropriate for you. Therefore, when we realize that now is the time to make the most important changes in our lives, Abbadon can be a huge help. We get a further understanding of how this will be when we take a closer look at some of its other correspondences, such as those listed above. The title of the angel of death speaks for itself, so let me draw your attention to the locust.
The initially harmless locust actually gives us a great understanding of how we can expect the changes brought into our lives through the manifestation of Abbadon. When we perform the ritual to Abbadon in order to bring about destruction and change, we must be aware that the manifestation will swarm in our lives like a plague. The changes will start small, but will accumulate, and eventually become numerous. As it happens in our lives, we begin to disintegrate and collapse, but it’s not as fatal as it seems. Like something that breaks down, it no longer serves us. This is something that needs to be recycled. When we force ourselves to realize this, we also realize that Abbadon’s subtle and esoteric relationship is actually the resurrection of God. So we see that he is death, he is the one who is dead and buried and can be resurrected. This makes him different from other resurrected gods, this is a greater emphasis on the aspect of destruction than rebirth. Although it may look superficial, it is actually very deep and leads us to another hidden correspondence of Abbadon, the dweller on the threshold.
Whenever we make major changes in our lives, our shadow side is what propels us and appears to us from the pit. One of the meanings of this is that sometimes Abbadon can be a gatekeeper for us, guiding us when we work with our Shadow. This can manifest itself in several different abilities. We may find him very useful as a psychopomp, acting as a guide through the dark night of our soul. We may also find it useful when we encounter our occupant on the doorstep, or perhaps he is our occupant on the doorstep. This last point explains why it is known as a place of destruction. This walk through a place of destruction cleanses us so that we tend to grow.
This is not an explicit correspondence to Abbadon, however, it is one of its more valuable properties. The shadow is the accumulation of all our parts that are suppressed, undeveloped, or reduce our growth and well-being in some areas. Over time, and because of our deliberate ignorance of these things, they gain strength, and eventually we overcome a lot of energy that was created by our own action or inaction. Modern psychology considers this through focusing on psychological patterns, but it fails. Taking into account the sensitivity associated with the power of these ideas and their imprints on our psyche. Working with us, Abbadon can be a great helper to confront us with these problems and win the competition. The fact that this meeting will be easy is a trap. In fact, this is not the case. His difference from other psychopomps is that he will indifferently point out things in the most direct manner. For those who take their shadow seriously, Abbadon is the way to go, but for those who find it painful to face these things directly, he may seem like the devil himself. I am speaking in a joking manner, as many references in ancient texts point to a parallel between him and the role of the enemy, which is usually occupied by Lucifer and Satan.
The meaning of this fact is also interesting not because it is a strict consequence of the role of Chronozone in modern occultism, as a personification of the shadow. Therefore, we can work with Abbadon and Chronozone in a similar way, but the difference between them is that Abbadon is the Beast of the Abyss, the Destroyer, and Chronozone is the gateway to the Other Side. In all other respects, both are identical. So you can work with one of them to understand the other. We will be looking closely at how to work with Abbadon, at ways that can help us grow the most. But keep in mind that this is the most direct way to work with these energies, so it can be troublesome.
Day 1
Setting up for Abbadon
This ritual is designed to attract the essence of Abbadon, and connect to his flow. In addition to the three red altar candles, you will need a black candle, incense, a dagger, and a blood drawing tool. Light the altar candles, then the incense. Light a black candle and say:
“I honor the nameless one”
Standing or sitting, lift the fiery snake (Kundalini fire) along the spine. Coordinate your breathing so that the snake’s fire, which heats and opens the chakras, moves higher. Starting from the base and ending in the area of the third eye. When the fire serpent reaches the third eye, take some blood and mark your forehead and chant:
«ODO A OOA DE A UIME» 1
Take your dagger and draw a triangle above your altar, pointing downwards. Observe the triangle glowing red.
Raise both hands up and say:
"Long live the mighty dragon, Lord of the infinite depths.
TOREZODU! 2
A destroyer and devourer, ruling over furies and locusts.
NIIS! 3
A mighty warrior and keeper of the keys to infinite knowledge
ABBATON, OL VINO ELASA.
Fill my blood with your essence
A A DOOAIN DE A UIME!» 4
Sit back, put the sigil in front of you. Drop some blood on the sigil, and look at it. Stare intently at the sigil, repeat the following mantra 11 times:
«ODO A ORESA ABBATON» 5
Send your intention through the sigil. Visualize some kind of energy connection between your third eye and the sigil, filling it with sublime fiery energy, imagining it alive.
When you are ready to continue, close your eyes and see the sigil with your inner vision. Observe it glowing with the appropriate color: the colors associated with the destroyer are black, red and green. Visualization of the sigil with the third eye creates the effect of a door or portal that is open to Abbadon himself and his flow. Watch the portal open, showing the dark God and his secrets. Let the visions flow freely. Do not try to force the experience. After communicating with Abbadon, return to your waking consciousness. Document your practice.
Put out the black candle and say:
"As above, so below
1 Open the eye of the dragon \snake
2 Rise up!
3 Come!
4 In the name of the dragon\snake
5 Open the darkness Abbadon
