You wouldn’t keep your original elemental energy no, everyone has the “classic” elemental energies be it fire, water, earth, air, but “nonclassics” are like dark, light, cosmic, death, aether/life, void, solar, lunar, among others. Nonclassic elements tend to make themselves the “forefront” of a person’s energy.
So if for example you were to have say earth/ambient energy and Lilith were to give you hers, the earth energy would become secondary to Lilith’s energy.
but if you were to have say Lilith’s dark energy and say Erebus came and gave you his, then his would swallow Lilith’s and convert it to his own within you.
