A Poem to Hermes

Hermes, God so swift and merry,

Protector of travelers, those crossroad weary,

Wisdom, Knowledge, Mirth Aplenty,

Who guides lost souls to Hades Entry,

You who art Nimble and Fleet,

Witty and Wise, thou can’t be beat,

Honor to you Lord Hermes the Swift,

A god to which my cup does does lift,

My words to you give honor and praise,

Hermes smile please turn my way.

(I hope Hermes likes this offering)
