I guess it would depend on the topic of the reading and what position this card pops out in. Also the number can be important. Like for a money reading 9 of pentacles can mean someone close to money or financial gains being close at hand or a project nearing completion. 10 would mean complete.

I don’t quite consider it to be referring to a courtesan as the 9 of Pentacles is Venus in Virgo.
Crowley titles it “Gain”:
So it’s more a force of one side gaining rather than part of connection with anything else. In the RWS deck, the woman is enjoying what she has built up.

Yes, or at the time, perhaps a MILF. However, the cards are all about purity, so less likely than modern decks. Nobody has put out a sexual tarot, that could be a money maker for someone.
