"Do all things for the glory of God’
Hello fellow magicians and sorcerers! My name is John (treeYanni). I was baptized into the Greek Orthodox Church when I was two years old. I was interested in Magic the Gathering and loved playing Phantasy Star Online with my three friends at a young age. In middle school, I was bullied and felt out of place, and was very insecure. In high school I could never get any girls to like me and stayed close to my friends, working on music projects and creating flash games. My junior year I played in a band–“The New Rich”–and looking back on it now I realize our band name was prophetic. When I was 17, I found Jesus and left the band. This was the turning point of my life, and I began a new spiritual life with him, living the life of the church and finding ways to increase his grace. To make a long story short, one day I got really high in his spirit which lasted a few weeks, then was faced with a trial(cross) that I struggled with for a couple weeks. After getting through it the best way I could, I started hanging out with my neighbor and his friends, drinking and smoking weed almost every other night. I later started getting interested in magic and alchemy, as a means of reconnecting with him and as a scientific interest. To make another long story short, I found crystal–or it found me–and started smoking it on and off for a few years with my close friends. Finally, I got back in the church and incorporated everything I learned from magic and sorcery, with Christian doctrine, faith, and practice.
I hope my experiences and insights will be beneficial for the growth of this forum, and I hope to learn more about magic and sorcery from you all.
