I started my path when I was about 8, at least, do not recall how my forces awakened but my grandmother on my father’s side taught me a bit about Sami and Norwegian traditional magick as a kid, while my great grandmother on my mother’s side did the same about Icelandic galdr and seid.
That led to me going off on a journey on my own, searching for my path. Today that path includes experience with practices from all over the world that I have incorporated along the way. I keep an open mind and won’t exclude certain magick simply becuase it isn’t my heritage.
I find that most forms of craft can easily compliment each other - I can very well combine Icelandic rune magick with hoodoo oils for instance, if it fits my purpose. This was just an example. I have great results from my practise but can always learn more, these days my goal is only to learn in order to grow, as I have everything I ever dreamt of having, and I owe most of that to my craft.
