A medieval romance about two sisters. One of them had been captured by the Moors as a child on Easter and became a Moorish queen. Later in life, at her request, her servants bring her a Christian slave, killing the husband. Both the queen and the slave are pregnant and give birth on the same day: the queen has a baby girl and the slave has a boy. The midwives change the babies and the slave is overheard by the queen naming the babygirl Blancaflor after her long lost sister. The queen asks the slave how she would recognize her sister to which the slave replies that her sister had a birthmark on her left breast and the queen in that moment realizes the slave is her sister.
