Starting out

Okkkkayy truce… see I’m putting it down… calm …

Start with meditation, stop asking for new things so you can keep delaying, or asking about ridiculous skills your common sense must tell you people don’t get through magick, just start with that then progress to trying the spell, and then move on to tarot or whatever.

You’ve been asking versions of this stuff since Jan 29th so please feel free to share what you’ve been doing so far in terms of magickal activities.

Edit to add: THIS.
trying to get to stix attempting soul travel and I have reached beserker staate thats all.

Atherius

In all seriousness Atherius, we have all been there. Wanting tons of info, thinking that if we just bought one more book we would have the secrets if the universe open to us…etc.

I did that for about a year, you know what it got me? Nothing…not a thing. You have all you need, shit if you have The Complete Works you can spend a lifetime with just those.

You have to dive in. Start with meditation, work on visualization, work on energy workings, start making allies with sigil magic, evoke, divine, and soul travel. But, in the words of Nike, Just Do It.

Exactly!

“Doing it” is much more fun than talking about it… in any field of human endeavour.

Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride: Die Die, we all pass away (Remains Of The Day)

“Live forever and enjoy all the plesures of the universe without fear the end.”

You can skip to not fearing the end without going through the ardous task of being immortal and invulnerable first.

I do happen to believe in the possibility of immortality and invulnerability - but you aren’t going to get there from being afraid of death. You will definitely need to have an acceptance of your death first. If you’ve in any sense regularly worked at causing reality to deliberately bend itself for you, you will quickly note that if you aren’t going to accept things as they currently are you will have a hard time of it, but if you would just accept a bit more things will change very rapidly for you in your favor. If you haven’t - well then the idea of accepting anything like that will be absurd and far be it for me to tell you it doesn’t have to be such a struggle.

I would recommend you to sit with the thoughts, ideas and feelings of death. Of any you know who died. Of your death (and think of it as inevitable). Of the death of those you know who are still alive. Most importantly, while you focus on these feelings regularly…learn to accept and welcome them. Don’t try and push them away or hide from them. When you accept them you’ll get a visceral feeling of release and keep releasing and letting go of it all. And obviously it won’t all be dealt with in one sitting, but eventually you can reach a place of absolute peace with the idea of your death.

Then you may actually have a chance at being immortal - but not otherwise. But more importantly, then you’ll be free - free of all the ills that ail pretty much every person because they fear dying and won’t dare look it face to face. So they squelch who they really are and what they really want.
It was sarcasm, bro. Invulnerability and immortality of the physical does not exist, to my knowledge.

Immortals correct me if I’m wrong. But if you’re one of the Eight, you’re on my shitlist and don’t come over here.
They do, they’re among the highest achivements of esoteric practice. That and voluntary reincarnation.

Read the book “Aubiography of a Yogui” by Paramahangsa Yogananda… he’s really “good” and stuff but what he has to say is important.

It is also the main subject of a branch of taosim focused on inner and outer alchemy. I don’t remember the name exactly, I read for the first time in a book of Alan Watts, but the main difference with the contemplative Tao is similar to the difference between Zen buddhism and the buddhism practiced by tibetan yoguis.

Also, I’ve seen bodies regenerate tissue they shouldn’t in matter of seconds (thanks to the healing seminaries) so yeah, the world has incredible yet hidden secrets yet to be revealed, but real nontheless.I’m talking like tendons, and healing of things like rheumatoid arthritis. Hard to believe, yet real.

To become “immortal” you have to “die” I’ll let you figure out what that means.

I’d like to believe this, but I’ve never seen anyone actually do it, and unlike evocation it’s a physical thing - I think reincarnating into a body you chose is credible, but whenever I read about that stuff I always think of this guy I know, a Castenada groupie, who claimed to be able to jump people off cliffs, and they’d land safe and sound.

He ran workshops promising this and charged people a lot of money, I seem to remember in excess of £200, and this was years ago.

What he actually did was put them in a trance and walk them down, then pull this semi-spiritual BS about how they made it to the ground so it was the same thing, playing on themes about how shamans were tricksters and the belief you jumped mattered more than being able to do it.

Another guy I met was a proponent of “spiritual surgery” where he claimed to be able to put his hands inside people, and remove disease - when the stuff he removed was analysed, it was chicken guts.

So I’m open to proof obviously but based on those two shysters, plus Deepak Chopra who for ages had this “I’m not going to age” schtick that was just pure BS because pictures show a different truth, I’m dubious, because they would swear until they were blue in the face they really did those things in defiance of normal laws, and in reality they both had carefully pre-planned ways of working round them.

I think miraculous healing is more credible because it’s restoring the body to the state it should be in, and a lot of stuff is psychosomatic anyway, so I’m not anti-miraculous stuff, just the ones that sound the most fake in my experience really have been fakery.

Lady Eva, next time you can, check for Reconnective Healing seminars or free stuffs around your city. You’ll see something different.

You can also check the work of konstantin korotkov

Cheers, I’ll give that a try - I think there might be some near me, quick google indicates that anyway. I do think sudden healings are possible (like the tendons in my back in Feb) but it’s some of the wilder stuff I have problems with, but again I’m really open to believing it with proof, my beliefs are already out-there to most people!

I will.thanks

Thats an easy one dead people can die becuase they are alredy dead.

It is something that gives off light… fat and it’s slow thin and it’s fast Dead.

Find that one out.

There are some Spirits that teach you how to Prepare and “Mummify” your Physical/Astral body to live longer.
Dying only at will is also up that alley…

In Taoism are some lets call them Levels of Immortality. Being immortal in the body is just one and not the highest.

Its my Goal too so maybe not the Starting point but A Goal.
But my money is on Aubrey David Nicholas Jasper de Grey, cybernetics and forced Reincarnation.
