I think I remember hearing about them. I believe what was said was that the Norse saw them in the same way European settlers saw the Native Americans.

How they approach things like entities too or parasite attachment , magician might try to banish it or put a spell on it , shaman will instruct you to fix abstractions in your subconscious so they can’t feed off you
