Porn is addictive and some guys overly depend on it and instead of meeting new mates they focus on porn. No Nut November is a way for a bunch of people to group up and try to beat the addiction.

Also this primarily for people that are addicted, which while some people are fine others aren’t just like any other vice.

I know porn really harms some people, especially young men, but my main concern as far as posting goes is to make sure no-one’s arguing and everyone can enjoy a thread with likeminded people, and a shared goal, instead of having to justify their choices over and over again. :+1:

Lol aight fair enough. Personally NNN isnt my thing. I’m not abstinent but I’m far from a lust and sex fanatic. Tbh sex irritates me. My magick tends to be very “sexy” but not “sexual” if that makes sense.

But abstaining from sex, as a man, is an extremely powerful thing. Theres a good reason monks all over the world prefer abstinence as a method to enlightenment versus using sexual energy for it. Sexual energy and raw kunda power are basically the same thing. The sexual part of it happens due to biology and nadis being linked in ways that give us the pleasure, thus dopamine, and thus the desire to procreate. I’d sacrifice that pleasure for pure kunda fuel any day, though I very much like the “sexy” aspect of things. If I do a ritual in lingerie it works far better for me than if I’m wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt even though sex magick isnt my thing.

If I was gonna do NNN, I’d abstain from all magick while I condition myself to be turned on and horny while also completely disconnected from sexual drive. NNN may be a way for men to overcome a porn addiction but I’d watch all the porn I could for the sake of said conditioning.
