What should I do first to contact a demon? Summon or evoke?
Invocations is a slight possession, you call the being within you to adopt their abilities or being-ness.
Evocation is summoning and arguably harder to do.

Invocation is practiced after you got to know a spirit through evocation. But maybe also when you haven’t a request, and just want to call that entity.
