Inner space evocation?

So I can’t really have a physical alter or place to do much more than. Some medication but would like to progress to trying to communicate with spirits, demons, etc. I remember reading something about doing it within one’s own mind. Does anyone here do that or have an understanding of it?

Help with Astral temple

After creating your astral temple, how do you perform spells and rituals? Do you just imagine it all in your head? And working with gods or spirits can be done also with imagination or you need to astral project yourself there in order to work with them. What other stuff can be done in your astral temple and how long does it normally take to build it. Thanks!
