How do succubi/incubi view themselves?

I will link
to my whole post in my journal but it is long so I posted this part. I think it fits with what you are talking about. King Paimon tried to explain to me how he sees love:

He huffed and sat cross legged on a pillow. “ If you were to find a beautiful flower that was being trampled, abused and stepped on and you straightened it back up and gave it water and walked away would that be love?”

“Or what if you unearthed the withered flower, replanted it and took it home and sat it in your window where it would always have light, water and could hear a gentle voice everyday and gazes of admiration would that be love? If the only reasonable option you could think of to stop the flower from suffering was to take it under your protection is that selfishness? Or is it love?”

(I’m still staring at him like an idiot)

“ One day that flower pointed up at me and told me that in her cosmos I was her sun and she wished that I could shine down on her forever. What would you call that? to me that is a proposal. A proposal of love”
