Host Gathering Thread?

Would it be possible to have a thread section to Host Gatherings on BALG? I’ve tried places like Meetup but I’m having no such luck with that site, I would like to make some friends with a mindset like myself and it’s just becoming difficult to socialize, finding people that are witches, Occultists, etc.

Most of those Groups that I joined, event organisers are no longer online, the other group that I’m trying to join doesn’t really like people that are LHP (F**king Racists bigots :rage: :rofl: )

There’s probably Covens here, I’m sure of it. But they’re not going to randomly decide to invite someone to one of their events and it’s quite understandable. I want to socialise more than rather than using a site to do so, there’s nothing wrong with using BALG. Since I’ve created account here - I’ve been enjoying it.

I want to share a beer with someone, even witness their magical strengths. Perhaps even form a Coven. Join one of their gatherings

If it’s okay to go ahead and plan a Gathering, I would like to get approve from the Mods here first.

I don’t think you need approval to meet up with people from this site. Though, it maybe hard to find people close to you for a meet up.

But you could, if you found others interested plan something out enough in advance that everyone could make arrangements to meet up.

Just remember to keep it safe. Everyone on the internet isnt your friend. So be careful with personal information and what not.

I agree, Meeting somewhere in public would do fine. People would probably feel comfortable bringing someone they know along with them as well.

I might just arrange a gathering anyway and if people are interested they can always show up if they want.

I’ll do it in a few weeks or so, just to prepare everything.

Sadly, I do not. I live in the US. But I think there are several on here that do.

That’s a shame, would have been lovely to meet you in person, there’s always a chance in the future. I think there’s more people that live in the U.S here than United Kingdom.

Ya I’m in Sweden guess none is over their but the uk I an hour away by flight so if it’s a big meet up I try to get their :wink:

Why not just start a thread about where you are at and asking for people if they are closed by, then bumped it about once a week?

@Purple I’m definitely planning to do that, sometime in a few weeks. I’ve already been planning where to meet whoever wants to show up

@Chosen_Path I know there was thread that asked where everyone lived, to be honest. I think people just want meet those that they like on BALG which is fine, I’ll check that link.

In the future I’d be interested in meeting you. I have to sort things out which might take a long time to do.
