You don’t have to burn it if you want to use it repeatedly. The Necronomicon spellbook says to put it somewhere unseen when you are done with it or just upside down. I keep them in the book itself.
Welcome @Mel_of_the_abyss It is a rule of this forum for all new members to properly introduce themselves so PLEASE CLICK ON THE IMAGE BELOW and tell us about yourself and any experience you may have in magick, such as what you practice, how long you have practiced, areas of interest, etc.
How do I meet or contact loki in my dreams and what protective measures should I take
Is it dangerous to burn the sigils of Lucifer and purson? Is it considered an insult to them?
The two sigils are activated
Intent is the fuel of magick. It’s not dangerous to burn a seal unless your intent is to harm the spirit. For example, in traditional Solomonic magick, the intent when burning a seal is to torture and bind the spirit so it obeys. However, in demonolatry, the intent behind burning a seal is to send the task to the spirit. And in EA Koetting’s system, you burn the seal to close it once you get your results.
After attempting to summon Lucifer, I suspect a parasite, so I thought that getting rid of the sigil might rid me of the parasite.
Then destroy the seal with the intent of closing it.
That’s strange to me-after binding Shax he told me that I must burn his sigil. Not necessarily out of torture but I suspected it was more a way to destroy and transform the energy
In traditional Solomon’s magick, the seal is held over a candle flame while the magician screams imprecations against the spirit, threatening it with eternal damnation unless it obeys.
I’d be interested in seeing what books have more on traditional solomonic magick just to compare and see how my operations differ and how they are similar-as said before I only have the lesser key
