Can evocation with a Spirit help you to increase Reiki Level/Power?

My first thought was Raphael or Metatron but I’ve heard it’s better to get more practice with evocation before trying to work with him.

Raphael controls information, as much as healing (actually, they’re kind of the same thing - information = data, data = what manifests - but I’m getting a bit off-topic there! ) - anyway he gave me a really simple method that’s completely suitable for new magicians and people who don’t or can’t evoke:

Short and simple: I have some nerve problems in my back, and have found some success in chanting the syllables of Raphael’s name - RA - PHA - EL and envisioning them wrapping the affacted area in a triangle, like the way words are written round the outside of a poker chip. I used the inverted triangle (like V) to bring energy “in” to heal a couple of times, and then I mainly used a point-up triangle (like ^ ) to regulate that energy and to heal it. Using that on yourself, and others (including animals who need healing) will help draw you closer to him, he’s an excellent mentor since he has such involvement with information.
