This post is really old but I don’t want to create a new one to contribute. I’ve been interested in the backrooms since it’s inception into mainstream media when developers started making games about it and popular YouTubers played them and gained millions of views. I never thought about checking the concept out myself while soul traveling before, but I did soul travel recently without a particular goal in mind and since I watched the trailer for the new A24 Backrooms movie, it crossed my mind and before I knew it, I was already in a similar space. Maybe not similar but it could have been the exact space created on the astral plane by millions of people subconsciously thinking about it. Or an egregore or something similar. There are a lot of people that are very invested in this concept and have done lots of deep dives and research about it. Either way, the place I visited was the exact same place. Pale yellow walls, hallways that span on for infinity, the constant humming. Everything exactly as described and depicted in the videos. But no monster or whatever creature that’s supposed to be lurking. It was a very interesting experience, not that I had much interest in experiencing the backrooms in the first place but in case anyone was still wondering, this is what I experienced.
