You can, but I wash the glass with that intention to remove whatever little negative energy it may have,
The salt vinegar water absorbs the energy, not the glass.
My glass now does have a crack though,
Maybe change the glass every few months.

a crack? throw away the glass! the glass absorbed too many negative energies and cracks and broken objects

Can I rub it down counterclockwise from crown to bottom visualizing the egg absorbing the bad stuff?instead of doing cross on chakra?
