If you want to see them you’ll have to open your senses and do an actual summoning but I advise you follow the advice of Lady Eva before doing that.
For opening senses you can start with being able to hear them speak by doing the void meditation that is available in this forum. Use the search function and search Void Meditation.

I would advise summoning in privacy. I wouldn’t do it in the middle of a grocery store or anything. Your bedroom works.
