Hm, I was taught by him to look better after myself. Because in the past when I had it I ignored it and didn’t even take any medicine until it got unbearable.

Yes you may keep his sigil for invocation and evocation I still have his and I even put it in my bed for sleep.

I personally wouldn’t be offering him a cigarette not his cup of tea from what I know of Raphael. He’d much rather have you meditate with him than anything.

Best of luck with your healing! Archangel Raphael has such a lovely energy/presence. Most of the time, because you are calling and have a certain intention whether you “hear”/feel a confirmation or not doesn’t matter.
A difference between let’s call them Christian-prayers and magick is that with prayers you’re just kinda talking out into space and saying help me with this thing. With magick, you are recognizing and honoring (respecting) an energy or being and then asking it/them to help you with something it/they enjoy doing. It isn’t as much “blind faith” as it is having confidence in what and spirits are capable of and willing to do. So the most important part of your meditation/ritual would be your most honest intention and the security of knowing you are heard (IMO).
EDIT: This is in regard to magick related to spirits/entities/etc.
