Depends on the question, some are better than others for different contexts.
Locations - use an atlas, spiritual - use a big reference for a related current, or a dictionary, or an encyclopedia. There’s no wrong answer.
But the best bibliomancy for me is not deliberate, it comes from synchronistically seeing a sign in whatever I’m already reading.
