Does the intent separate the difference on which being the person is calling? I was thinking this recently as i occasionally see people who name themselves after a powerful being.

Using the name alone can cause a lot of issues, there are many entities who share the same name and thoughtforms who share the same name. So a sigil makes a whole lot of difference when used and having that entity empower a personal sigil you make or they make for you makes an even greater difference where you can avoid all the digging through all the shet attached to public sigils.
