What is this amulet?

Does anybody recognize these symbols? I’m trying to identify the meaning and purpose of this amulet. I don’t know anything about it’s origin unfortunately.

Description

“It is said to be a most necessary talisman for the evocation of spirits and very efficacious ‘for all good.’ Evil spirits cannot injure the wearer at any time” [The complete book of Amulets and Talismans (2003), Migene Gonzalez-Wippler]

This talisman is ideal for those who are in a position of authority or influence, and assists those whose work centers on helping others. This includes clergy, doctors, administrators and spiritual teachers. These seals were lifted from the “Greater Key of Solomon”, a foundational grimoire of Western Esotericism that contains influences of Judaic mysticism/Kabbalah, Roman astrology and Hermetic alchemy.

“Every one knoweth in the present day that from time immemorial Solomon possessed knowledge inspired by the wise teachings of an angel, to which he appeared so submissive and obedient, that in addition to the gift of wisdom, which he demanded, he obtained with profusion all the other virtues; which happened in order that knowledge worthy of eternal preservation might not be buried with his body.” [The Greater Key of Solomon (1999), Liddell & Mathers]

Awesome, thank you!!!

Nice piece! The symbols of the Pentacle of Solomon pendant incorporates a series of triangles that have many meanings as well protection for the wearer and magical power. Mystic teachings incorporate the power of three (the points of the triangle), one represents force, two represents an opening, and three is wisdom.

Some ancients believe the triangle to be symbolic of a doorway. The thought was that the combination of polarities would provide a new opening or doorway to a higher wisdom, the four superimposed triangles increase this power.

The meaning of the triangle can vary based on its orientation in the design. None of the other basic shapes offer this versatility as the geometric design has three points, the number 3 is an important mystical number and symbol.
