So far I’ve never been able to clearly see one of these beings in a way that I could be certain was not my imagination. My mind’s eye is roiling and chaotic anyway. While it does have the ability to visualize, it can’t maintain one thing for very long at all, which tends to make it a poor avenue for divination.
What I have noticed developing further is that I can hear them. They speak clearly, much more clearly and less hazy than anything my own mind can produce. Their words are firm, and impervious to any mental probing or attempt at ‘re-hearing’ or reinterpretation of what they say. What’s most fascinating to me, is that although they each have unique voices, what doesn’t change between them is how profoundly ‘different’ they sound. They sound completely alien to anything I have heard or imagined, and I can’t even fully put into words the quality of ‘otherness’ that pervades them, or even memorize them exactly how I heard them.
Of course, this could still well just be me discovering a different part of my imagination I didn’t yet know that I had, but I don’t think so. Other threads about this were last posted on years ago, so I’m making this one in curiosity about people with similar experiences.
