I want to work with the Valkyrie.

Anyone here worked with the Valkyrie. What can you say about them? What are their attributes and what can they help with?

I’ve never worked with one, but since their job in Norse mythology was to escort the honoured dead to Valhalla, I would say they probably excel at psychopomp work ie helping the dead cross over.
Just a guess though.

Valkyrie are fierce to say the least. Some Valkyrie were women when they were alive. They also have some necromantic associations but to a lesser and less “dark extent”. Valkyries appear in the Edda and Sagas and in one saga (can’t remember which), a Valkyrie marries a mortal man. Valkyries are very protective spirits but they can also teach you certain things (each Valkyrie has different teachings, and a different personality). Odhinn and Freyja are both great spirits to speak with if you wish to get in touch with the Valkyrie. They also can teach divination and occasionally give out prophecy. I’ll find a list of Valkyrie names and post it for ya!
