I saw on EA’s love spell video that you don’t have to have a candle to perform the same spell. Is this true?

If you have developed the focus and the skills that are developed by doing basic candle magick yes. The same is true of sigil magick, this kind if concentration takes time to develop though as it is a skill.

Yes, absolutely. You don’t need any props, really They’re a nice to have, they can make focus easier, I personally feel that they’re quite fun, but these physical things are not what’s doing the work - you are.
Eh… Maybe with the exception of evocation using incense… its not just cool to see the smoke take shape, it’s very validating when what you sense psychically can be seen physically.
