IMO, there’s no such thing as “Infernal” that’s a KIND of spirit.
The dictionary definition says infernal means “underworld”, but there’s a gazillion types of underworlds from as many philosophies that’s very vague and general.
It seems to be a fancy label applied by some groups in the magick community to spirits that they have grouped together for their own purposes. It’s like saying “underworld beings”.
And every underworld has many different kinds of beings, some from the list of three above, but also ghosts, astral entities and thoughtless. I think of it as a human construct and therefore part of the astral . Thus also meaning - astral being. And I thin in that case none of the Goetia say are “infernal” because they’re not underworld and not only astral.
But then again that’s overthinking it - the term “infernal” might just be marketing and not that deep.
I will encourage you to read the satanic bible by Anton LaVey or Shemhamforash by Arundell Overman.
So these are the religions this label comes from? I’m not a follower of region of any kind, and my assessment stands based on my philosophy which is not going to be the same as satanaism, because I think satanism is … incomplete. And to an extent a deliberate joke hidden in plain sight as far as Lavey goes.
You asked for my opinion, you’ve got it. What you want to do with that is up to you, I’m not telling you what to think.

Satanism is not meant to be complete. The infernal names is a list of entities Satanists traditionally invokes in working magick.
Charged object like a charged sigil representing the god or demon?
Yes the labels comes from the satanic bible. They are a list of different gods and mythological beings that have been demonized throughout history. Pan, Thoth and Seth for instance.
