Tried an interesting technique to get information

I’ve done energy work for the past several years, but I’m just getting started with divination. My goal is to open up my clairvoyance so I can receive clear information from the spirits urging me further down my own path.

I started searching for a tarot deck to work with a couple of days ago, but just couldn’t find anything that resonated with me. I realize I’m going to work with this deck for many years, so I definitely wanted to find one I connected with.

I finally found two decks that felt right, but it wasn’t clear to me which one I should go with.

There is a spirit who’s guiding me, teaching me, and opening paths for me, but I can’t always connect with her consciously. Due to old religious programming, I’ve definitely got some blocks that get in the way. I’m working on them.

So I decided to try something different …

I took two sheets of paper. I wrote “YES” on one of them and “NO” on the other.

I can feel energy very strongly with my hands, so I called my spirit guide closer to me and asked her to surround my aura with hers.

In my imagination, I could see her float down closer to me, like a beautiful and ethereal being of light. That’s the first time she’s taken that form with me.

I asked her to light my hands up with strong energy when I held my hand over the correct answer.

Didn’t work. My hands were already too energized just from her presence.

Next, I asked her to send a swirling vortex of energy spiraling up through my hand when it was over the correct answer and to suck energy out of my hand strongly when I was over the incorrect answer.

I felt a little more energetic movement this time, but it was very subtle and hard for me to detect.

Third time was the charm.

I asked her to push my hand up very hard when it was over the correct answer and to pull my hand down very hard when it was over the incorrect answer.

And it worked. I could feel the movement of my hands clearly even though they never actually moved.

I learned a couple of interesting things from this experiment.

I don’t get any energetic response if I ask the wrong question. Next time I try this, I’m going to try adding “Not The Right Question” answer.

I learned that I could strengthen my connection with my spirit guide by looking her directly in the eyes and sharing our breaths. Once we established that push-and-pull rhythm between our breaths, the energy really flowed.

She really, really, really wants me to get some amethysts to help me. I clearly got an emphatic “YESSSSSSS!!!” answer as a thought in my head when I asked the question. lol

Pretty interesting results. I’m really looking forward to diving into the tarot and seeing how my intuition and clairvoyance unfolds.

Congratulations on your experience, it’s always great to get a response.

Awesome use of problem solving skills, so often people expect things to be “magical” in the everyday sense, like Harry Potter, and don’t realise we’re trying to connect with beings who are fundamentally different to us in many ways, and very few go to the bother of working out ways to communicate.

Nice work!
