Does being in trance even if it’s a light alpha trance make it easier to visualize things, and can you evoke in light alpha trance state

Being in a light trance state does aid in evocations. Many magicians seem to use self hypnosis, but any method that will get you there will do.

EA has a term he uses for the trance state for evocation. I forget what he calls it.
