Lucid dreaming occurs due to a biofeedback induced alteration of one’s sleep cycle, to give one control in and of their dreams. No magic is necessarily involved in the process.
AP is the dislocation of one’s subtle body from one’s physical body and subsequent transport of it into the astral plane.
Soul travel is more complicated.
