But do you sleep with your books? As in keep it on the other side of the bed to read it in the morning?
No. I have far too many to do that
This is a confusing question, well this is two questions.
The first one is for people who have more than one book, second question seems to be for anyone who only has one book.
I have difficulty reading books if they aren’t torn apart to individual pages first.
I keep mine on a tablet and I keep the tablet next to my bed so yes, I don’t think I would do that if I had physical copies. I usually don’t read first thing in the morning though, I usually play video games for like 20 minutes before getting up
My book self is literally on the wall right over my bed. I have fallen asleep with both books and tarot decks in my bed too. So yes I do. But it’s more of a space thing than anything else.
I tried that once, but when it came to rituals and meditation, I found the light to be distracting.
My book shelf is right next to my altar. How you got it over your bed, idk.
My bed is against two of the walls in my room. I have “floating shelves”
So I have at moments. But ive also fallen asleep with my runes in my bed, laptop, books, headphones, etc. I get a little “nesty”. Now all of my books are digital and I live with another person. So all my physical books spend their nights on the shelf.
Before I had a phone or tablet, back in the 90’s and early 2000’s! Yeah I would sleep surrounded by books on history and theology. Good times!
I think your books need some polyamory, lol.
All the time. I often sleep with whichever book I’m reading either under the pillow or close beside. Sometimes I go through periods where I’ll fall asleep with several (more like a dozen or two) books on the bed. How else am I supposed to absorb knowledge during the hours of slumber?
If I had it my way, I’d still sleep with my belongings as I once did. Lol. I’ve only got two physical books. They’d take up sooo little room.
Haven’t you watched Dr Strange? Astral reading! If only…
I have not! And lol, if only…
