i am going to be reading this book and i have to ask what should i expect from the work. has anyone else read it here and if so what did you think stood out. i have a particular interest in Baron Samedi, will he be expounded upon?

There is not much there about the Barons at all from what I have seen. This book is really just meant to show you the door. More detailed info is expected to be gained from the Loa themselves.
I would recommend you pick up the revised copy. The original unfortunately has blinds that were installed on account of his source insisting they be implemented.
