Asmodeus declares without exception that all those who fell including he and Lucifer and all others, from other pantheons as well chose to serve man on this plane.
All those who chose to exist for man are the fallen.
Satan included.
He as the serpent offered the fruit not for his own gain of any sort but for man.
And thus was banished.
All are banished who so give themselves to man for man. For so giving they deify man and man becomes as gods
And the other gods who choose not to serve man seeing not their own lesser nature therefore are angered and for this act of serving man they cast those serving out.
For they want to keep their positions of power
But they are foolish ignorant and stagnant seeing not that it is by man that they themselves live and subsist.
Therefore only those who serve man are eternal.
Only those are truly gods
For they see that their existence the degree of contact made with them depends upon the
Development of man:
Thus they develop and deal with man directly. With each personally. Giving to his life what they need and adding what they miss. They are the gate trough whtch this gain flows. The Gatekeepers are chief among these.
