That sounds quite accurate. The honest trickster reminds me of a creation trickster archetype. A spirit that tricks the creator into doing something that is beneficial for others. 
Coyote the spirit, or the coyote archetype? Or both lol
Depending on the tradition, like Navajo or Apache and others, I would say spirit. But the archetype is alive and well.
